The US Department of Education launched a website, LearningPort.com, which offers free educational and professional development resources to parents and teachers, searchable by topic and by organization.
The site is a compilation of links to learning modules, tool kits, reports, webinars, and other information supplied by different school districts, professional groups and other organizations, who are invited to submit resources directly online.
The Learning Port’s national online library of resources can be used or customized according to an organization’s needs.
The site was created by the US Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) to support the use of ARRA funds.
