By tracking daily physical activities using wireless mobile technology, researchers might be able to monitor an individual’s health and early symptoms of dementia, heart problems, or depression.
In a small study, eight elderly community residents wore mobile sensors for 10 days. Each resident’s activities and behaviors correlated with his physical and psychological health.
