Inspired by the young-adult novel The Misfits, in which four friends struggle with bullying, No-Name-Calling Week aims to get students and educators talking about ways to eliminate name-calling and other forms of bullying in their schools. This week of educational activities has the support of over 40 schools and organizations across the nation.
